Stealing His Heart by Ella Jade - A #NewRelease is on #Giveaway Spree

Stealing His Heart
by
Ella Jade

Erotic, Contemporary Romance

When
the players take the field this spring come meet my players...

Will the bad-boy
pitcher strike out when it comes to love?
Shy music
teacher Sophia Ballis has sworn off men. After a bad experience with a college
jock she decided it was better to be alone than to get burned again. She
focused on her education and now her new job at a local private school.

Professional
baseball pitcher Paxton Hughes is a player both on and off the field. He's
signed to the Kingston Crushers to bring home the coveted championship title.
Nothing can get in his way. Serious relationships don't mix with a life on the
road and he never loses focus on the game. One-night stands are his specialty
for a reason.
While out
jogging one spring morning, the two collide, setting their course in motion.
Pax is immediately drawn to the unassuming beauty. Sophia is aware of his
reputation and decides one night of meaningless sex with the attractive Texas
charmer is just what she needs to get over her self-imposed dry spell. Pax has
more than a one-night stand on his mind, but will his bad-boy persona and
demanding schedule ruin any chances of a happily ever after?

“Can I walk you
to your car?”
“Thank you.”
Sophia got up from the table and took his hand. “I’m parked right out front.”
Pax led her
across the dance floor, waving to the few people who were left, and then out to
the parking lot.
“It’s that one.”
She pointed to her beat-up car, the one she’d bought her freshman year of
college. It was used then but it still managed to get her where she needed to
go. “Probably not as nice as what you drive.”
He leaned her
against the car and wrapped his arms around her waist. Her heart pounded hard
against her chest, strumming loud between her ears. She could smell the beer
that lingered on his breath. His hazel eyes narrowed as he swiped the tip of
his tongue along his top lip before tilting his head.
“I have a
feeling I’m going be seeing you in my dreams tonight.” He sighed as he brought
his mouth to hers. “Give me something to remember these next few days.”
She nodded as
she placed her hands on his broad shoulders and guided him to her, closing any
space between them. When his warm lips touched hers, she thought she would
explode. A burn coursed through her and settled between her legs. The mild
tingling she’d experienced when they danced was nothing compared to the
intensity she felt now.
As he deepened
the kiss, his tongue massaged hers. Increasing his hold on her hips, he pinned
her between the car and his massive thighs. She tightened her grip on him when
his erection grazed her center. Every nerve ending in her begged to be
satiated. The ache inside her stomach moved lower until the dampness invaded
her panties. Her nipples poked against the thin material of her silk bra.
When she moaned
into his mouth, he placed one last kiss on her lips before pulling away. He
looked at her for a moment, pressing his forehead to hers, as he stuttered a
few words.
“That
was...well, I’ve never...” He ran his fingers through his hair. “You have me
tongue-tied, sugar. That doesn’t happen often.”
Now she wanted
to know what else he could do with that tongue.
“You best get in
that car and drive away before I...”
She’d never
wanted to have a one-night stand more than she did at that very moment. Maggie
had said if there was ever a guy to have one with, Pax would be the one. He was
a no-strings-attached player. Why hadn’t he asked her to go home with him?
“Be safe driving
home.” He reached for the handle and opened her door. “You have some sweet
dreams. I know I sure will.”
Sleep? That was
the last thing on her mind.

What #Movie Stokes The Flame in Your #Relationship?

Welcome to Advice Bench!

Does watching a sexy movie turn up the heat in your body to the extent you rush home to practice what you've seen?

Let me put it this way, say you go to the Cinema, watch a film where the romance is so real, you can almost touch it, you feel your thighs twitch in response and you wish your husband or wife is there to take away some of the pent up body heat?

Okay, I must confess. On Sunday, I went to the Cinema and I watched a pretty sexy American romantic comedy, titled; ABOUT LAST NIGHT. It was hot! The sex references left me giggling like a school girl.

I had no clue it was going to leave me so stewed. Unable to quench the raging fire it stirred inside me, I rushed home to my hubby's arms, securely locking the bedroom door behind me!

Since then, I have constantly sent unprintable, sexy text messages to my hubby, and the
result is that more heat is generated behind closed doors.

I'm grateful to the producers of the film for severely stoking the flame in my bedroom. No kidding. Lol!

Its your turn to name any movie that has left you running into your lovers arms because of the heat level. Please share.

Thank you for stopping by. Please share your comments, so I know you stopped by. It gives me great pleasure to read your views.

You remain unforgettable,

#RomanceQuotesMonday5

A very bright and beautiful Monday to you all.

On Romance Quotes today, I'm sharing two lovely quotes from a contemporary romance novel I wrote a couple of years ago.

#RomQuote 1

"Sweetheart, why are you crying? When you're delighted, you cry and when you're upset you cry. I can't tell the difference."

#RomQuote 2

"Elegant gifts for an elegant lady. At least,  you're excited. The gifts are for you to know you are my treasure.  Even when am away from you, am constantly thinking of you. You can't hide from me, darling."

Do You Prefer Birthday Gifts over Anniversary Gifts?

Many women, including myself are particularly fond of expecting special gifts from their husbands, Partners or boyfriends on specific dates of the year.

These dates aren't to be forgotten under any circumstance, except our husbands or boyfriends are ill or hospitalized. God forbid!

Excuses aren't often acceptable if the better half is too busy to get a gift.

Birthdays, Wedding Anniversaries and Christmas dates are extremely important in the life
of a woman. Words aren't enough to describe the size and depth of her disappointment if her husband fails to buy her a card, gift or both.

Valentine's day and Mother's day are also significant in the life of a woman, especially women with romantic hearts like mine.

Vividly, I recall with laughter my husband's dazed expression when I reminded him of the most significant dates of the year, emphasizing to him the truth that he musn't forget to buy me gifts.

My birthday, our wedding anniversary, Christmas and Valentine's days are dates for him to remember. Unfortunately for my dearest hubby, in my case, all four dates are two months apart! Add mother's day to the list, and he has his work neatly cut out for him.

I told him the size or cost of the gift is irrelevant because I was brought up 'never to look at a gift horse in the nose'.

There has to be a gift, any gift!!!

Do you cherish birthday gifts over others or are you as demanding as I am.

Please share your preferences.

Thank you for visiting and reading.

#RomanceQuotesMonday4

It is another Monday, thank God.

Today, I had to smile at the words of a great romance writer.

The romantic quotes from William Shakespeare will please you immensely this week. My heart skipped fondly as I read and so will yours. Enjoy.

RomQuote #1

"My story starts at sea, a perilous voyage to an unknown land. A shipwreck. The wild waters roar and heave. The brave vessel is dashed all to pieces. And all the helpless souls within her drowned. All save one. A lady. Whose soul is greater than the ocean, and her spirit stronger than the sea's embrace. Not for her a watery end, but a new life beginning on a stranger shore. It will be a love story. For she will be my heroine for all time. And her name will be Viola."

Will Warren's reputation be torn to shreds? Sparkling Dawn #Romance #Contemporary

For your pleasure and relaxation, I want to share a piece of Flirty & Feisty Romance Fifth Novel. Enjoy.

Warren
Swallowing gulp of air for courage, Chloe went to him. She surprised him by going to sit on his thighs. His eyes narrowed first as if trying to understand her volte face, before hauling her right across his body.

“You’re so very pigheaded and, close mouthed about how you feel. You’re driving me zany!” Warren said in frustration.

Chloe shrugged. “Why haven’t you been picking my calls, if you cared so much?" She taunted as she fought for breath against his thudding chest.

“Because I needed to find out if you’ll be aching to see me. I want to know if__”

“And…?” Chloe interrupted.

His fingers rubbed her spine, setting her body alight. “And what?” She moaned against his lips.

“What have you found out?” She purred. Where their thighs met, lightning surged in both directions.

“That you’re__” She found the sexual strength to kiss him into silence. He promptly shut his mouth. She ran her fingers across his torso and his ribs. Feeling molten inferno searing her body, she went for quick strokes of his hardening nipples.

Warren’s staged control snapped.

Lowering his wayward hands to mold her firm butt, he worked his way up her back. Kissing her bare shoulders. Chloe squirmed in his arms.

That was all the indication he needed. When he pulled her inner olive green, tube top down to reveal the purple lacy bra he bought for her, his nostrils flared.

He knew he was playing with danger, but how was he going to stop?

"You’re wholly seductive, with a body to lust after. I’ve good intentions, but you’re pushing me over the edge, Sweetheart."

Years ago, Chloe developed a secret crush on Warren, but a painful event led her to believe she had been set up. To preserve family ties, she kept the humiliating incident and her subsequent actions secret.

Now, a high-powered freelance fashion journalist, Chloe intends to live her jet-set life to the fullest, until her former crush unexpectedly knocks on the door.
Warren is still drawn to Chloe and has no idea why she holds back from him. Will they reconcile, or will Chloe's secret tear Warren's family reputation apart?

Will One Kiss Steal Her Heart? Stolen Valentine Kiss - A #NewRelease #Novella

Flirty & Feisty Romance Novels released the seventh title, the first sweet romance novella and first series; STOLEN VALENTINE KISS in time for Valentine season.

To sweeten your weekend, here's the blurb and excerpt.

Stolen Valentine Kiss (Holiday Series #1) by Stella Eromonsere-Ajanaku

Publication Date: Feb 1st 2014

ISBN/EAN 13: 1495237931/9781495237935 (Paperback)

Genre / Categories: Fiction/Romance/Contemporary/Interracial/Multicultural

One broken heart. Two grieving minds.

To Lorna Ibe, Departmental Manager with one of London's multi-channel retailers, Valentine's Day lost its romantic flavour years ago. An unplanned holiday to New Jersey is her perfect getaway from the stress and emotional turmoil locked in her heart, just what she needs to take her mind off her troubles. That's until she runs into Logan.

Magazine publisher, Logan Blake has had his fair share of stress in the past few years. When his sister asks him to drop off old clothes to charity, he has a minor accident in front of the charity shop where Lorna volunteers. When he sets eyes on her bare midriff as she wipes the display window, he clears his busy schedule to volunteer his time. Two burdened hearts afraid to get entwined.

One Stolen Valentine Kiss. Will Valentine season bring them romance or will their fears keep them apart?

The brush flew out of her unsteady hands for the third time in a row.
Swallowing hard, she eyeballed her reflection in the silver scalloped round dressing table mirror. Bending over, she snatched the brush from the carpet.

''Stay still,'' she said through gritted teeth. Why is she doing everything to please her Aunt? You know the answer to that, her conscience whispered.

The door bell clanged. She heard the door open. Stumbling to her feet, she rushed forward and placed her ears behind the door, straining to listen to his conversation with her Aunt.

Her knees juddered. ''Only because I haven't been out on a date for so long,'' she muttered.

The knock on her door sent her stumbling backwards, landing slapdash on the bed. Her Aunt walked in, a bemused smile on her face.

''So...so...so, Logan is even more manly...more striking than you let on. Wow! You look gorgeous in that red dress.'' Breathing easier, she stood up.
''Do you think this dress flatters me?''

I am Stella Eromonsere-Ajanaku, a fun loving mother of two, married to my very own gorgeous alpha male. I recently 'retired' from an eighteen stint working as a Quality Assurance Manager. Writing romance novels is an exciting adventure.

In 2010, I created Flirty & Feisty Romance Novels. There are six contemporary romance novels in the kitty, varying from sweet & sensual to spicy hot & steamy - LOITERING SHADOWS, STORMY DEFENSE, BEYOND the LADY, THE GARDNER'S ICE MAIDEN, SPARKLING DAWN and HUSBAND to RENT. STOLEN VALENTINE KISS is my first series and my first Novella.

On my writing desk at the moment, my first historical romance, a trilogy is taking shape. A daunting challenge I must confess, but I love the characters and their journey so far. In my leisure time, I go swimming, read romance novels, go to Cinema, and watch TV.

#Release blitz for Miss Redmond's Deception

Happy Wednesday dear readers, I have the pleasure of hosting historical romance author, Sandra Cox. Her new release, MISS REDMOND's DECEPTION - a sweet romance is on a release blitz.

Enjoy Miss Redmond's Deception blurb and excerpt.

Genre: Romance/Historical/Regency

BLURB

When Captain Richard Greyston encounters three figures in a graveyard, he takes them for a spectral visitation until he realizes it is two young ladies—in their nightgowns, no less—and their spinsterish companion. A spinster with slender limbs and an enchantingly velvety voice.

Pembra doesn’t care a whit for the captain’s opinion of her, even after circumstances force them into a sham betrothal. But when a gypsy warns her that his life hangs in the balance, she begins to realize that her heart is not so uninvolved as she might like to pretend.

EXCERPT
“Where’s everyone going?” she muttered. Her curiosity aroused, Pembra slipped out the door behind her sisters, keeping the spectral white nightgowns in sight as she stayed in the shadows. Her heart gave a hard ka-thump at the nearby screech of an owl. Ignoring it, she kept going.

What are they up to? Pembra watched Sabrina follow Emma, who followed Betsy.

The maid turned off the path into the small graveyard located behind the rectory. She forgot to watch Betsy as she stared in astonishment at Emma sinking behind a large tombstone, like a specter sinking into the grave, while Sabrina crept up behind her.

Pembra tiptoed closer until she heard subdued voices. She braced her hands against the rough bark of an oak. Hidden, she leaned forward to hear.

“Emma what are you doing here?” Sabrina demanded.

Emma clamped a hand over her own mouth, muffling her shriek. “What are you doing here?” she hissed back.

“Following you.”

“Gosh, you scared me.” Emma pulled Sabrina down beside her.

“At the risk of being repetitive, what are you doing here?”

“Following Betsy. You’ll never believe it, but she’s out there with Adolphus Webster.”

“The rector’s son?” Sabrina gasped in shock. “Surely you’re mistaken. That platter-faced prig wouldn’t have the nerve to meet anyone.”

“Oh, no? Well just take a look at that. Meeting is hardly the word for what’s going on.” Emma giggled.

“Oh my.” Sabrina clapped her hand over Emma’s eyes while peeking over the top of the tombstone.

“Hey, move your hand.” Emma wiggled trying to dislodge her disobliging sister’s fingers.

“You are much too young to witness such disreputable behavior,” her sibling scolded.

“Yes, and you are so much more worldly,” Emma grumbled, as she pried away Sabrina’s fingers.

“Well, I’m worldly enough to know if Pembra finds out about this, its curtains for Betsy,” Sabrina replied, indignant.

The girls—so awake to the carnal pursuits under the maple tree—were paying not the least attention to their immediate surroundings.

Pembra stepped out from her hiding place. “If Pembra finds out about what?”
“Eeekk.” Both girls screeched and jumped up in fright.

~*~

It was unfortunate indeed that Captain the Honorable Richard Greyston, late of the Household Brigade,  grandson and only heir of the fifth Earl of Meade, had taken a wrong turn and was cantering by on his temperamental stallion, when the girls rose shrieking from behind the tombstone.

“Bloody hell,” floated on the clear night air as Greyston fought to get his mount under control, not quite believing what he was seeing as three ghostly apparitions stared at him from behind an ancient funerary marker.

When his mount Doondiah was quieted down, Greyston unobtrusively drew a pistol from an inside pocket of his great coat. Nudging the stallion with his knees, he approached cautiously. Though, damned if he knew what good a pistol would be against a ghost, much less three.

Greyston gave a snort of disgust as he drew nearer and saw that his ghostly apparitions were only girls, at least the two clutching each other were. The third was definitely an old maid wearing a ridiculous mobcap, pulled down nearly to her thick spectacles, and a night rail that had enough material in it to serve as an army tent.

“You damn fool,” he told his horse succinctly.

“That will be enough of that language in front of innocent young females, sir,” the old maid snapped, stepping forward.

Spoken like a true spinster.  He sighed inwardly. But ye gods, the voice. Velvety as night. Low and smoky as sin. A nightingale sound that conjured up forbidden delights. If his mistress had a voice like that he’d never leave her side. A lot could be forgiven resonance like that even if it came from a dried up old spinster.

He moderated his cutting rejoinder to a mild, “Madam, what are you doing out here?”
